Concessions

SHOWROOM sells water, soft drinks, candy, and popcorn/snacks at all of our events.  We also offer a limited selection of beer (on draft) and canned wine and cocktails. Valid ID required. Outside food and drink are not allowed. If found, you will be asked to dispose of it.

Directions

  • via I-91 or NH Route 12

    Take I-91 South to Exit 5 in Vermont, then follow Route 9 East toward Keene. Continue into downtown Keene and turn onto Commercial Street. The destination will be on the right.

  • via Route 12:

    Follow Route 12 North into Keene. At the traffic circle, take the Main Street exit toward downtown. Proceed a short distance and turn into Commercial Street. Your destination will be on the left.

  • via Route 9

    Take Route 9 West toward Keene. At the traffic circle, take the Main Street exit into downtown. Continue a short distance and you’ll arrive at 20 Commercial Street on your right.

  • via Route 9

    Follow Route 9 East into Keene. At the intersection with Commercial Street, turn right into Commercial Street. The destination will be ahead on the left.

  • Hours

    The Box Office at SHOWROOM is open two hours before the start time for live performances and one hour before the start for film.

    To reach visit someone during normal business hours, the Box Office at The Colonial Theatre is open Tuesday through Friday, 12 PM to 5 PM.

  • Member Discounts:
    The Colonial Theatre is pleased to offer discounts to members at the Contributor level and above as a thank you for your generous support! For more information, please visit (insert support page).

    Group Sales:
    Groups of 10 (or more) may take advantage of our Group discount pricing- saving 10% on ticket prices, plus waived service fees for Colonial presented live performances! Group tickets must be purchased within one transaction and with one form of payment. Please contact our Box Office at 603-35-2033 to learn more. 

    Student Rush:
    Full-time students, with a valid, current ID, may purchase up to two Student Rush tickets for select Colonial presented live performances. Please visit (insert student rush link) to see a listing of eligible dates.

  • Tickets purchased through a third party or ticket reseller cannot be reprinted, exchanged, or donated.

    The Colonial does not condone and strongly discourages the purchase of tickets through unauthorized third-party sellers or resellers. To ensure fair pricing, valid admission, and the best customer service, we urge our audience to purchase tickets only through The Colonial’s official sales channels:

  • All sales are final. Colonial Members at the Sustainer level and above may be able to exchange their tickets for another Colonial presentation.* 

    If you cannot attend, please contact the Box Office, you can arrange to donate your tickets back to us, or have them reissued to a friend.

  • The Showroom is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Service fees help defer costs not covered by ticket prices that benefit and streamline your experience, such as Box Office staff, our website, and phone system.

    Historic Preservation and Maintenance Fees:

    The Historic and Preservation and Maintenance Fees allocate a portion of the cost of each ticket sold to the historic preservation and upkeep of our two venues.

    These fees are built into the ticket price you see: 

    $1.50 for performances in SHOWROOM.

  • At most performances, the Showroom sells wine and beer at our two venues. You must be 21 years or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Anyone underage found to be in possession of alcohol will be immediately escorted out of the building. Anyone bringing in outside alcohol will be immediately escorted from the building.

    Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in all areas of both venues.

    Children/Youth

    EVERYONE attending an event at the Showroom Theatre – including youth (17 years and under), children (12 years old and under) and babes-in-arms – must have a ticket to enter.

  • Many of our shows are family-friendly, but parents and caregivers should research each show and make the best decision for their family. When a show is not appropriate for younger audiences, or younger audiences are not permitted, we will include that information on our website or other printed material.

    EVERYONE attending an event at The Colonial Theatre – including children and babes-in-arms – must have a ticket to enter.

  • By attending events at our venue, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. Your entry constitutes permission for the venue and its partners to use your likeness, voice, and image in any live or recorded video display, broadcast, photograph, or other reproduction for promotional and archival purposes, without compensation or further approval.

    Personal photography may be permitted on a show-by-show basis, at the discretion and request of the individual artist or band. The Colonial does its best to honor and accommodate the wishes of our incoming tours regarding photo and video restrictions.

    Flash photography, tripods, and professional camera equipment are not allowed without prior written consent.

    • Recording of performances (audio or video) is strictly prohibited, unless explicitly authorized by the artist or venue.

  • Events at The Colonial are rarely canceled or postponed due to weather. Touring artists typically perform in a wide range of conditions and make every effort to honor their scheduled engagements. In the event of severe or unsafe weather, we will notify all ticket holders as soon as possible regarding any changes, postponements, or cancellations. Refunds or exchanges will be issued only if an event is officially canceled or rescheduled.
